Schizm Mysterious Journey is a pre-rendered adventure game, similar to Myst or the Journeyman Project series.
The story is about a human expedition to a unknown planet called Argilus. They arrive there and somehow they see full cities, factories, meals partially eaten but no people. It's up to the players, which controls two characters to unravel the mystery.
The gameplay is pretty straightforward, and fully mouse based. The game is an interactive slideshow with videos, which while being pre-rendered, making it photo-realistic. There's even real actor footage.
Actions can be triggered with the mouse depending on its location on the screen, like clicking in the middle to walk to another checkpoint, pan sideways, up or down, or interacting with objects. Objectives are to inspect and collect items, clues, and try to solve puzzles.
