Building Environmental Assessment Tool (BEAT)

A PC tool for performing environmental assessment of products, building elements and buildings

BEAT basically consists of three parts:

• a database containing data for energy sources, means of transport, products, building elements and buildings.
• a user interface which allows the user to add, edit and delete data in the database.
• an inventory tool, which allows the user to perform calculations for products, building elements and buildings and print the results in different ways, e.g. as input/output tables or environmental profiles.
