Spelunky

A hard platformer game where you control an Indiana Jones-esque character and find gold, monsters, damsels in distress and much more. Even though dying in this game is common, it is hard to get too discouraged since the levels are procedurally generated, meaning that there are new experiences in every playthrough even if you always start from the beginning.

Warning: This game may make you more paranoid than horror games.
