Everything seems to work. Because the BT-Q1000 is attached via the USB port, you'll need to reassign it to the serial port (otherwise the software won't recognize it).
So, you would do something like:
# rm -fr /dev/ttyS2
# ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/ttyS2
Then when you first fire up the QStarz software, select "com3". Select the highest baud rate.
As I said, everything seems to work just fine.
