following steps are needed to run Top.exe

  1. Preparation:
    Start with a clean wine directory
    rm -rf ~/.wine && wineprefixcreate
    This will destroy all configuration and installation done in wine.

    Download winetricks and make it executable
    wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks� && chmod +x winetricks

  2. Install some extra components
    DCOM98
    ./winetricks dcom98
    Fake the ie6 installation
    ./winetricks fakeie6
    MDAC 2.8
    ./winetricks mdac28

    Download Jet40SP8_9xNT.exe� from microsoft.com and run� it
    wine Jet40SP8_9xNT.exe

  3. �Install and/or run your TOP-Program!
