What works
Once installed, everything seems to work, my wife has been playing for several hours with nothing wrong that I can see. This includes all expansions.
What does not
Installation is a bit iffy. I was able to install using the keyboard shortcuts. Mouse input for the installer seems to not work well. This affects some of the expansion packs as well.

I installed native mfc42.dll. One of the expansion installers is affected by bug #14930, but that looks like it will be fixed in 1.1.30. I'm using an nvidia 9600gso card.
