Additional Comments

Tested with server 1.005, server's installation file can be downloaded from ''. The server still likely have SecuROM protection code still embedded in the software (see bug link's comment #24 for details). It doesn't seem possible at this time to run the server in console-only mode, as the server does some DirectX functionality tests, which requires X to be running in order for these checks to pass. Running the server without X (via 'wine' command) results in a crash. Running the server in console mode (via 'wineconsole') result in ncurses going bonkers as the process runs. Unknown if the server is actually running while in this state. Ctrl-C is unresponsive when this happens and one must do a 2nd login process kill (and 'reset') to regain control.
