OmniForm 5.1 enables you to quickly turn paper forms into digital forms, or to create new digital forms from scratch. OmniForm 5.1 comes with a complete set of pre-designed templates to facilitate the creation of new forms. These forms can be printed and distributed, or they can be sent via e-mail so that recipients can fill them out on their computers.
OmniForm 5.1 also comes with a single license for the OmniForm Filler/Data Manager so that the user can expedite the filling out of forms on their own PC. This is a real time-saver for individuals who need to complete forms on a regular basis. The Filler/Data Manager maintains a database of information about the user and automatically fills in information that has been provided on previous forms. In a nutshell, OmniForm 5.1 is the ideal product for individuals who need to create forms, or who receive a large number of paper forms and want to speed up the completion of these forms by turning them into digital forms and filling them out on their PC.
This software works great. In order to print the form a printer must be installed in
Linux first. It could be
perfectly integrated with Linux if you choose Omniform as the default
.ofm file application. After this just double click on the .ofm file and Omniform will start.
What does not
The only problem that I found is that in order to open a form, the form cannot be open from the windows partition, instead the form must be in the Linux partition or in a USB Flash drive. Another issue is that the "Startup Tips" do not show correctly, probably because of some font issue.
What was not tested
The scanning of the form was not tested however if a scanner is installed in Linux it should work fine.
