The 2008 version works similar to previous versions. The only issue that required a new work around is the RealTrack installation. The RealTrack files are installed as .wma files then an included decompression app attempts to convert them to .wav files. This step fails. I was able to convert the files using mplayer. Besides mplayer you'll need the win32 codecs as well. Those can be obtained from the mplayer homepage.

cd to the location of .wma files. In my case ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/bb/RealTracks/realsax, then run the following command:

for i in *.wma; do mplayer -ao pcm:file="${i%.wma}.wav" "$i"; done

Do the same for the realpedj and RAcG directories. RealTracks should then be usable.
The sax sounds great. To use it you select soloist 361 when generating a solo.

What works

I found no features that didn't work, but BiaB is is so feature rich it's possible that something might not work. I rebuilt my songlist, opened songs and played them. displayed and edited notation, generated and played solos.

What does not

other then the issue with installing RealTracks as noted above, I haven't found anything that hasn't worked.

What was not tested

There are so many features, many are not tested. If I come across something that doesn't work, I'll update.
