HowTo / Notes

CD Installation

To get Wine menu entries working, install Internet Explorer 8:

winetricks -q ie8

Then set a native override for mshta.exe with winecfg or execute the following:

wine reg.exe ADD HKCU\\Software\\Wine\\DllOverrides /v "mshta.exe" /t REG_SZ /d "native,builtin"

Assuming CD is mapped to d: in Wine, the CD autorun launcher can be started using the following command. Not strictly necessary since setup.exe can be started directly on the CD using winefile.

wine C:\\windows\\command\\start.exe /d d:\\ d:\\autorun.exe Launch.hta
