2D, very fast 3D, all shademodes, 3dorbit, 3d surfaces, Autolisp interpreter, Autolisp routines, mtext, attdef, ddatte, ddedit, express tools, image, block, xref, insert, dim, inquiery, copy/paste from text window to mtext, attext, layers, entity selection filter, config, hardware acceleration with wopengl6.hdi driver.
What does not
Default dialog window invoked by 'image' hangs application on data input, but works fine invoked via command line dialogue ( like '_image')
The 'ddmodify' dialog window unusable - major drawback.
Plot command produces memory allocation error.
What was not tested
External database connectivity.
Service packs - tried but not satisfactory.
Native language support for text
Nvidia chipset. KDE 3.5.9. Seems to be suitable for most tasks, but not good enough to get rid of windoze installation.

1. Use recent version of Wine(tested on Wine-1.3.9)
2. Download winetricks by following command
3. Install required components by following command
sh winetricks corefonts mdac25 tahoma win2k
It will take some time because winetricks will download all above components
4. Change Screen Resolution in Wine configuration by typing
Then go to Graphics tab and change Screen Resolution from 96 to 108

5. navigate to your AutoCAD 2000 CD and run
