The game loads, npcs interact, travel through portals to other maps is available, combat works fine, music and sound works fine.
What does not
The "Glow Effect" in video options. When activated in the smallest degree it will cause a sort of "picture in picture" effect which makes your character invisible and will also fail to load the game past the character select screen.
Occasionally the music and sound will suddenly deactivate and will not return until restart of the game. Cause unknown though it seems to happen more in area with a lot of sound (such as a massive combat area).
Occasionally portals will cause the game to crash, but most of the time they work without trouble. Cause unknown, though it seems to happen more likely in dungeon travel and when your character dies in a dungeon and is resurrected outside of it.
What was not tested
As far as I can tell everything was tested.
Version of wine used was 1.0.1 and set on "Windows 95" Crackmeup was still used to override Game Guard and is re-initialized every time Shaiya updates. This game did not work prior to the xorg xserver intel video driver update that happened a few weeks ago. If you use an intel processor/video card combined chipset I suggest you get those drivers.
