What works

single player

What does not

Crash on Intro videos

Workarounds

I had to do some instaling of directshow and allcodecs trough winetricks, because the game would crash since wine had no plugins for runing the video data inside the game

What was not tested

multiplayer

instant play

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Intel
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

this is run through the CSFix version of the game so it should be mentioned that you should set on wine configuration to emulate windows 7(It seemed to work from there so didn't test further). Also with the workaround the game will tend to minimize while playing the intros,  so when u lose focus on the game just maximize back, then you are good to go from that point. worth mentioning that i set up this on lutris, so i used their wine version (lutris-fshack-5.7-x86_64) and i set up a "bottle" for this game alone to ensure it didn't mess with the other setups for the rest of the games.

P.S: reason of gold is because it runs better than Windows 10 (at least me being Intel)
