Xebra does not use normal system release numbers, but rather the release date of the package.
I managed to get this version working with wine 0.9.51, that's all I can say here.

What works
I could say that everything works.
What does not
Theres a little problem with audio interleaving when using alsa drivers.
So you may switch the EsounD driver with emulation and audio will plays just fine.

Additional Comments
Everything seems to work without errors, still at some state I wasn't able to run xebra and arbex just like in windows XP. It's runs with few frames slower than in windows and have some sound issue with any of the drivers in the configuration menu.
