What does not

Both the X windows mouse cursor and the in-game rendered mouse cursor are visible. The game rendered mouse cursor lags significant behind the X windows mouse cursor. The X windows mouse cursor can be made to disappear by taking away the focus from the game windows and then give it back. Except for the mouse cursor, the game window does not refresh and remains black. The problem disappears once the mouse button is clicked.

When operating in full screen mode, the game rendered mouse cursor is not erased properly: it leaves its print on the screen.
