What works

Everything seems to work except for MIDI music (although this may not be a Wine issue) and the save/open dialogs (they crash, documented in bug 12714).

File chooser dialogs work fine if "Windows Version" is set to NT 3.51.

What does not

  • MIDI music
  • Standard file dialogs (if "Windows Version" set to Windows NT 4.0/Windows 95 or higher.)
  • (Not actually a Wine issue, also in Windows) Animations do not work properly in 15-bit color or higher.

Additional Comments

Create an application specific override and set the Windows version to NT 3.51 to fix the issues with the file dialogs. Everything else works flawlessly, aside from MIDI music, although that's almost certainly due to the usage of PulseAudio, and does not indicate any bug in Wine itself.
