Installation from DVD
Important Note:During installation near the end the installer will try to move 2 directories from the DVD to your /windows/winsxs/. The 'Manifests' directory on the DVD is spelled Manifests while under .wine/...winsxs is spelled 'manifests'.
Create a directory under .wine named ..../windows/winsxs/Manifests and copy the files from /winsxs/manifests into it. Otherwise the install will fail which is where people are getting stuck.
Also check that the binary filenames are Spelled correctly with correct Capitialization, etc in the shortcuts and in the registry.
What does not
Starting up.....and the rest afterwards.
What was not tested
Everything beyond the install
::Need to install to debug & get somewhat started:: Fresh .Wine Directory is recommended. DotNet20 VCRUN2005 SP1 IE6 MSXML3 Games for Windows Live If you have the time and want to debug this game to find out why it can't get past the Startup screens it might be worth it. It looks to be an OLE32/OLEAUT32/TypeLib2 situation/errors at least that's as far as I got before I gave up. :)
