What works

Installation if you run it in a virtual desktop and then disabling virtual desktop will enable the installation to work without virtual desktop...

What does not

Playing the game, either complains about sound - if you run from the CD

or that no cd is inserted - if you run from the installed Dir

either DOS or WINDOWS version works

Additional Comments

I installed MFC42.dll with Winetricks but it didn't do anything good, I "tried" installing the DX (5.0?) version from the CD but it complained that a newer was installed. It also said something about it in the README file that you had to install those drivers if experiencing problems with sound. So, it simply does not work as far as I can tell. Tried ALSA, OSS, Jack.. the same complaints about the sound.
