The game installs and the game can be played. I haven't finished the game (yet), but the graphics and animations work, speech and music work, mouse interaction works fine; everything works fine.
[IMPORTANT] Note that the X Window System system needs to be in 16 BPP (change DefaultDepth to 16 in /etc/X11/xorg.conf), the game needs to be started from where ExpressW.exe resides, and mfc42.dll (from for example dll-files.com) has to be added to either the system/ or the system32/ directory in /.wine/drive_c/windows/.
What does not
When running setup.exe, after pressing the "View Making Of" button, the making of isn't shown. This however is not an actual problem, because the makingof.avi can be watched using any player.
What was not tested
I didn't finish playing the entire game.
The game works fine and I'm happily playing it. I didn't select Platinum, because of some issues described under "What works". Not everyone knows how to change the display depth after a fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode notice and the DLL-error is not displayed in a pop-up (not everyone starts wine from a console).
