Soaring simulation works perfectly out of the box. NVIDIA graphics card with latest NVIDIA driver installed. Used CH Products Flightstick Pro joystick ( bank, pitch, spoilers, hat, and assigned buttons to tow release, reset view, and landing gear ) and CH Products Pro Pedals ( rudder control ). Was able to reassign controls to joystick and pedals without any problem. Ran Condor landscape settings on highest quality without any problems. Added custom Condor landscape for Pyrenees and that worked without any problems either.
What does not
Initially the joystick and pedals didn't work in Condor, but that was a Ubuntu issue and not Wine problem. Tested the joystick and pedals outside of Wine from command line with "jstest /dev/input/js0" and got it to work there and then it worked fine within Wine/Condor.
What was not tested
I didn't test internet play at all or flight logger recording.
Thanks Wine team. You guys rock!
