For the most part, the programs runs fine, except for the problems listed below.
What does not
Still has the cursor problem mentioned before.
However, this version, combined with Ubuntu 8.04, has a major problem. When focus is on another program, you cannot use the [alt]-[tab] switch or click on the taskbar icon to switch back to the program. You must minimize other programs until you come to NTP.
What was not tested
Everything was tested, for the most part.
Wine v.0.9.46 was the last version it still worked pretty good, except for a few minor problems (e.g., the cursor problem). Before upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04, I never upgraded past v.0.9.46 due to problems.

I have the best success with Wine if I uninstall the old version of Wine before installing the new version.
I keep a copy of the install for the version that I know works, so if the new version of Wine introduces new issues, I can easily roll back to a working configuration.
All the user settings are unaffected by uninstalling Wine. All user settings are kept under /home/username/.wine.
If you want to try a completely new install of NoteTab or any other Windows program and preserve your settings, you can rename the .wine directory in your user directory. There have been no issues that have required this for a couple of years.
No special settings have been required to get NoteTab Pro to work.
