What works
Starting the game, accessing the in character selection screen. The 3D characters which previously did not show up now are visible.
What does not
Joining the ship and in game. I'm able to get to the burst screen most of the time with Wine set to Windows XP in the configuration, though it always crashes during this joining phase. It seems like other windows compatibility besides XP do not work too well and usually make the game crash on start.

This is an awesome game with many hours of memorable game play to be had. It would be great to see it working in Linux and it seems like we are so close to having that become a reality. This vote on this bug listed below.
