What works

Installing and playing the game.

Installation only worked using setup.exe, not using install.exe. autorun.exe also doesn't work.

What does not

I didn't get the game to run at all in Windows 10, yet the submission form requires me to say yes here.

Workarounds

If you get a console error about glide2x.dll not being found:

1. Install winetricks if you haven't already.
2. Execute winetricks dlls glidewrapper.
3. Click through the wizard that opens up. You only need to install the core package.

If the game complains about the cd not being inserted even though it is:

1. Open the executable in a hexeditor of your choice. I used okteta.
2. Determine which executable you have and which sequence to look for here. It's most likely E8 A2 D1 06 00 if your executable comes directly from your CD or E8 16 68 07 00 if you downloaded a patched file somewhere online.
3. Replace E8 with B8, leaving the rest of the sequence unchanged.
4. Save the executable and run it. You will no longer need the CD.

What was not tested

I stopped playing somewhere in the first level.

Additional Comments

Make sure you are using setup.exe for installation, not install.exe or autorun.exe.

Also make sure you run the game using a Direct3D version of the executable. It usually has d3d in its name, such as mdkd3d.exe or mdka3d3d.exe. They can easily be found online if they are not on your CD. I had no luck with mdk.exe, mdk95.exe and mdk3dfx.exe.
