What works

What does not

Running. The software first complains about mfc42u.dll, then about wmvcore.dll. I obtained and copied both to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
Currently it seems that my copy of wmvcore.dll is corrupt somehow -

err:module:map_image Could not map section .text, file probably truncated
err:module:import_dll Loading library WMVCore.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files\\iriver\\iriver plus 3\\iTagM.dll") failed (error c000007b).

What was not tested

Everything past installation, also I haven't tried running it with windows media player installed (I assume this is where the dll would otherwise come from)

HowTo / Notes

There have been no reports of success in getting iriver plus 3 to work in Wine. However, you may make progress by using native mfc42u.dll, or by using winetricks vcrun6. Check out bug 12454 for more info.
