TaxCut_Premium+State_2007_CD.exe installer completes without issues. Install completes normally.
Deduction Pro 2007 (included on CD) installs and creates appropriate menus and desktop icons.
What does not
Will not autorun on disc insertion. Auto installer "tcauto.exe" starts but gives exception error "EAccessViolation".
TaxCut_Premium+State_2007_CD.exe installer completes normally, but does not create the desktop shortcuts nor the launcher under "Wine->Programs" (Gnome). When launched from the command line (e.g., cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/TaxCut07/Program; wine TaxCut.exe) it give an error:
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly L"Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC"
TaxCut Federal is not installed (see BusinessMgmt::GetDllHandle())
Deduction Pro 2007 also will not launch from either the menu or command line and gives error: "JVM: Can't find main class "DPRO"" and "JVM: Can't find main method".
What was not tested
Software features (Neither program would launch following installation).
Suspect an issue with the main installation package being ".exe" which extracts a ".msi" for the actual software installation. I'm relatively new to the wine game, so I don't know if there is something I am missing.
