What works

I tried adding new chapters, scenes, locations, and characters; everything seemed usable

What does not

Double-clicking to select a word didn't seem to work unless I did 'winetricks riched20'

What was not tested

I only used it for five minutes, so lots wasn't tested

Hardware tested

  • GPU:
  • Driver:

Additional Comments

Seemed useful without any overrides at all, but it's hard to live without doubleclicking on words, so 'winetricks riched20' seems required for comfort

HowTo / Notes

I did get this working with the addition of the richtxt.dlls and the richtxt.ocx from an XP install
HOWTO - Wine Version 1.X

Make sure you have the previously mentioned riched20, riched32, and oleaut32 dlls installed.

Launch winecfg > select libraries tab.  Drop down the menu and scroll to the afforementioned dll and click add.

If you do not set the richtext dll and ole dll in the winecfg/libraries path you will get errors:

"Error 13 in Form_Load - Type Mismatch"
