Carrara Studio

What works

Carrara 6.2.1 and 6.5b13 (available to DAZ3D Platinum Club Members for the moment) install without difficulty.

With vertexprimitive.mcx removed from the installation directory (Carrara 6 Pro/Extensions/VertexModeler). The program runs without difficulty with the exception of being unable to handle Vertex Models.

- The main interface and interactive renderer works fine (Nvidia 7900GS and drivers) with some redraw issues on opening and closing panels in windowed mode

- Spline modeller works

- Texture room works

- Storyboard room works 

- Hair works

- Environment Realistic Sky works

- Rendering movies and stills work.

What does not

vertexprimitive.mcx fails to load when starting the program.  If this module is removed from the installation directories, Carrara loads and runs but is unable to handle vertex objects.
