Single Player - Works, but has numerous issues detailed below.
Skirmish - Works, but has numerous issues detailed below.
What does not
Installation - Does not work. Wine will not let me eject the first disc so I can insert the second. I had to install the game in Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and point Wine to that installation. On the plus side, the game plays better in Wine 1.1.7 than it does in Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
CD Music - Does not work. You will hear your drive spinning up and see the activity light blinking, but no music will play in the game.
What was not tested
Multiplayer - Not tested.
These are the problems that I could identify: 1) Profile selection does not work properly. After creating a profile you have to select "New Profile" to choose it. Directly selecting your profile will instead prompt you to create a new one. 2) The mouse can only turn horizontally in 180 degrees. 3) The mouse will get stuck if you try to aim up or down. 4) In some instances the intro movies will not play. I have not tested the outro movies. 5) Control settings either do not save after playing the game or reset when the game is played again. You must reset them every time you play the game. 6) Sound for movies and many sound effects is filled with static.
