What works

Everything works finde after installing glidewrapper (found the solution here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=852976). Graphics are smooth and fast.

What does not

Sometimes, the mouse seems to be locked to only a quarter of the screen, making it necessary to use the cursor keys to navigate throught the menus.

Additional Comments

I don't know about the issues people have with installing Carmageddon2 as my version came 'as is', no need to install something. Get it and play it and install some mods. Really nice game, brings back some nostalgic feelings.
