The game seems to start without problems, runs great, etc., as long as you have "Virtual Desktop" enabled in wine. No graphical or audio glitches, music (BGM) plays smoothly.
What does not
Without "Virtual Desktop" enabled, the game is "screened" with a black window, which can be temporarily disabled when you switch between applications in your window manager. Looks like a full-screen issue (maybe graphic card-specific?).
"Data Load" menu causes a crash when you click it with a mouse and try to select a saved game (by moving your mouse pointer without releasing the mouse button) -- bug 31252.
What was not tested
In-game glitches reported earlier (calling for a military support during certain missions, etc.)
Unless you have appropriate video codecs installed, you'll be presented a black screen instead of a movie. Skip it with a right mouse button.
