- Winetrciks installed: d3dx9_43, msxml3, physx, vcrun6. - The file potbsinstall.exe used to install and update the game was set to Windows98 mode in wine configuration to avoid a lack of privileges error, and executed from within the virtual drive created for the game. - 4gb_patch was applied to the file PotBS.exe to avoid an out of memory error (it can be downloaded from http://www.ntcore.com/files/4gb_patch.zip and applied executing the command "wine 4gb_patch.exe PotBS.exe" in a terminal, with both files being in the same directory). This has to be done after every update. - The game has to be launched by running the file PotBS.exe. - Performance is better on windows. Especially noticeable when setting graphics quality to the maximum and opening multiple instances of the game.
