It can be installed since 1.1.0 version of Wine, and with 0.9.x. Now, don't need use Windows 98/ME. Virus scan is fast. NTDLL errors in console. It really find viruses in files and archives!

Wine 0.9.5x

1). Download installer.

2). Select "Windows 2000", XP, 2003 or Vista in winecfg.

3). Run installation.

4). Close all programs under wine and wine. KAV will be loaded automatically.

5). Run winecfg and select "Windows ME" or "Windows 98". Add an application and set it to use Windows ME as well.

6). Let's try check C: drive!

Kaspersky Anti-Virus agent can works slowly with Wine 0.9.5x.

Wine 1.0-rc's

It's impossibme to finish an installation.

Wine 1.1.x

1). Download installer.

2). Select "Windows 2000", XP, 2003 or Vista in winecfg.

3). Run installation.

4). Run this program.

5). Let's try check C: drive!

Uninstall

Uninstallation of KAV program is easy. Just run installation exe file. If you have not this, run command like this:

MsiExec.exe /I{4B9BB601-13E9-4042-A3BC-E7955BF4A98F}

This command may do nothing, search lines with "uninstall" word in system.reg and use right string like this: {4B9BB601-13E9-4042-A3BC-E7955BF4A98F}.
