What works

As far as I can tell the application is running stable.

The installation is a little bit complicated:
 - insert CD
 - execute SETUP.EXE
 - "Alle Dateien"
 - "Soll die Installation eine Programm-Manager-Gruppe erstellen?" (Doesn't matter)

wine regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment

append to "PATH": ";c:\windows\Asym\Runtime"

exit regedit

Start from CD

/home/user/.wine/dosdevices/d:/HIRNANAT/UFHIRN.EXE

What does not

The installer offers to create a new section in the programm manager, but independent of the users choice, the installer terminates and no section is created.

Workarounds

What was not tested

I've just been using it the first time (never saw it running under windows), so I just clicked on some links and browsed the application. I used wine-0.9.46 for the test, as it is the version installed with ubuntu 7.10 and I see no need to use a newer version as the application runs well.

• open in filesystem browser.
• Run ./SETUP.EXE.
• Choose "Alle Dateien" to copy all files.
• $ wine regedit
• "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment", Key: 'PATH', append ";C:\windows\Asym\Runtime" and
• quit regedit.
• Run ./HIRNANAT/UFHIRN.EXE.
