City editor -- selecting it in the game crashes it, and selecting it in "City Life - Editor Mode" does nothing.

Additional Comments

The game runs in a usable state right out of the box. However, the game constantly complains about errors with .zip files whenever an item is selected for the first time in-game (e.g. the error is displayed right after you select any button on the construction menu) Also, each .zip error (which displays as green text on top of whatever you're looking at - not in a dialog box) is accompanied by a moment's freeze. This can be very annoying. To fix, go to your City Life directory (C:\Program Files\Monte Cristo\City Life by default) and open the BIN folder. In there there are three "texturecache" folders. In each is a file called "cache.pak" Simply modify the permission so that the current user or owner has READ AND WRITE permissions. This makes the .zip errors go away, and even speeds up the game. Also, I highly advise that this game is run in a virtual desktop -- in fullscreen mode the cursor acts very weird. Outside of that, the game itself runs very well. I don't know if it's any faster on Windows, because i'm yet to play this game on Windows!
