Under Windows 2000 compatibility
Other than that, everything seems compatible under the WinXP compatibility settings.
Under Windows XP compatibility, the mouse is stuck in a small bounding box in the center of the screen in the game menu system, making it impossible to use the menu system to enter the game world, or to exit the game. A reboot of X is normally required.
Both XP and 200 behavior are detailed in Bug 8291
What was not tested
I've played the game extensively under earlier versions of WINE when there was a workaround for the mouse bug; at that time, everything worked perfectly, apart from an occasional inexplicable crash.
I rated this bronze as the game is not playable with these mouse. However, the only thing standing between this and and full gold or platinum rating is the mouse issues - I played the game for a several week trial period under Wine 0.9.45 or so. At that time, the game played perfectly apart from the mouse issue; I could work around that since alt-tabbing between windows in the background would 'unstick' the mouse temporarily and allow me to access the menus. In-game play worked perfectly!
