What works

The installer, until "Microsoft netframe 2" comes up.

What does not

The actual program, since it won't finish the total. "Vegas70.exe" has serious errors, after registering the program. It also blames a deficiency in WINE.

"mediaMgrNgen" does not install. It blames an inefficiency in WINE, then asks me to go to the WINE site.\

 "SQL server could not find the default instance (MSLQRSERVER)" and asks for invocation of "SQL server".

What was not tested

The actual use of the program (Vegas 7.0d), itself. I could not get to it on a few tries.

Additional Comments

If you produce video, this will no longer be your program to produce and render video with, unless Wine decides to build something new to make the "Microsoft oddities" go away. If you need this multitrack renderer, you will need Windows XP or higher partitioned on your drive.
