Movies don't work. Looks like a quartz.dll error, but native quartz.dll doesn't work also - it crashes. Fast Skipping finally working. Still eats a lot of CPU.

Actually it was fairly simple. You use winetricks to install ffdshow. This installs necessary codecs for the movies to play. You also have to use native quartz.dll.
Yes, really. The game runs smoothly with wine patched with DIB Engine and WINEDIB=on.
Fast skipping finally becomes _really_fast. No slowdowns in the options menu. Great.
