What works
The app seems to work OK.
What does not
The install program would not run at all.
However, in trying to install my old copy of Dreamweaver V2 I following the advice here
http://luiscosio.com/how-to-dreamweaver-and-flash-8-running-on-ubuntu-dapper
(which is basically to copy all the folders and registry entries of a Windows install).
Copying the folders and registry entries detailed in this link also resulted in my copying the Fireworks folders and registry entries. Once I had done this it worked fine,

Extensive use. I have not used the app. extensively but I modified and saved a couple of images with no problems.
