Still ground texture quality problems with Wine 2.6
by Thomas on Thursday April 27th 2017, 2:00
I'm running SF Platinum 1.52 on Early 2015 MacBook Pro with Wine 2.6.
Still having the bug #14522 with bad quality ground textures. Tried a few different solutions mentioned somewhere around the Internet but nothing's working for now.
ATI texture/model bug
by Mclean on Tuesday September 20th 2011, 12:34
The ATI texture/model bug (white textures or flickering textures) can be resolved by adding the 'UseGLSL = disable' regedit key to wine's Direct3D settings, although the ground texture bug persists.
Centering Mouse Issue fix
by Mclean on Tuesday September 20th 2011, 11:03
From the terminal, run 'regedit'.
Change the registry value of MouseWarpOverride to 'enable' or 'disable'.
It should be found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Wine->DirectInput, if not create it.
If you are having mouse centering problems, it could be you've already set this value to 'force', which breaks the mouse in this game.
