Development has been stalled since 2003, with support coming almost exclusively from the user community. Version 4 has been in alpha since roughly that time with the developer popping up every now and then and promising us some progress just as soon as the current paying project is finished.

What works

Installs, updates, and some of the applications run. I'm having difficulty loading a character sheet into iPC, but it's other functions seem to be running well. I have yet to test the chat functions since the application won't connect to a server without a character sheet loaded (a flaw under windows as well).

The game scheduler runs well.

What does not

iGM seems to be having problems loading some of its class libraries: but I haven't run the debugger yet to find and end-run the dependencies. The module currently crashes after the first two screens.

GRiPnet, the iRC client (used only to set up games) crashes shortly after connecting to a server.

What was not tested

iPC connection to an iGM server, either locally or past the router. This will happen over the next few days.

Additional Comments

I have a box image for this RPG tool and will continue testing under WINE since I use it regularly (under VMware) for internet gaming.
