Perfect World is a MMORPG developed by Perfect World Inc. and published by Cubinet Interactive Sdn. Bhd. It is less of the typical grind you see in oriental MMOs and more questing. They do a few things different in this game.
1) Flying in various ways is a huge part of the game.
2) There are both a REAL auction house (you have to bid) and player stalls.
3) Random bosses 20+ levels higher than you just pop up (to prevent botting)
4) Cash shop in which you can buy items for real money that help you in game
I tested this on a vanilla 9.55 install using all the defaults, it started right up.
As far as I can tell, everything works with the small exceptions below.
All of the lighting effects render perfectly which really surprised me, there are some intricate blooms in this game and 9.55 didn't miss one of them GG guys :).
What does not
The icons for the items in the bag are discolored to the point of being unrecognizable.(non-fatal)
Changing any of the display settings while in game will cause it to crash.(FATALITY)
Simply backing out of the game and changing them works fine though.
What was not tested
I ran this from the windows drive, no linux reinstall or leaping thru flaming hoops was needed to make it run. Just placed a shorcut on the linux desktop and it starts right up
