What works

Installation, starting the game-ish (see comment below)

What does not

The menu graphics are completely distorted beyond recognition. By stumbling around in the menu to try and get into the game proper, the program crashes.

Additional Comments

For some reason, the game refuses to start when double-clicking Requiem.exe within the installed folder on my system (the game complains immediately about missing art). However, running within the console from the install directory works fine. Also, when the program DOES run, it tends to destabilise the X server. So far, after managing to click the Quit button in the main menu (I assume the bottom one), it causes the screen to go black with only the mouse cursor visible, and also when the game crashed when trying to enter the game proper, the screen dropped to 320x240 resolution, and distorted the dimensions of my main KDE panel.
