CorelDRAW 9 loaded and registered. It seemed to open to the default screen with no problems. The pick tool worked. The duplicate feature worked. The mouse worked both left click and right click. The menus across the top opened with no problem. Copy and pasting text worked.
What does not
Selecting fonts was not possible. Multiple tools were not selectable. When selecting a tool over and over, it might finally be chosen, but to change from that tool to another would be struggle of trying over and over again.
Copy and pasting objects crashed the program.
What was not tested
Corel Paint was barely tested. It had similar problems.
Corel Paint is part of the default package but is a separate application from CorelDRAW.
I loaded CorelDRAW 9 and did get service pack 1 from an old submission dated (2007-09-16). This submission used Wine 0.9.3 and suggested eight Dll files to install. I went to install one of them (msvcrt.dll) and looked in .wines/drive_c/windows/system 32 folder and saw a file named the same. I assumed because that was 5 years ago, I did not need to install these dlls. I did try using windows 98 instead of the default windows XP in wine config as the old submission suggested but it seemed to make no difference. I do wonder if the fact I am using a dual processor could be the problem. I understand dual processors mess with the timing in some older games. Because of the way the selection of tools seemed to be random, I would click the mouse clicking over and over, until it finally choose the tool. I thought it could be my dual processor giving the problem. Thanks, Zeeboos

Current State (2007-09-16)
Corel Draw was tested using wine 0.9.22 - 45 and - so far - CorelDraw is currently working. Needs some addtional native dlls and laks of printing support. But works fine for me.
- Rotated Text becomes invisible on some systems
- Printing produces only printed postscript code instead of the graphics
Applying Service Packs to Corel Draw becomes possible. For all those who don't have the service packs I added it to my Webseite: http://www.intersoft-networks.ch/index.php?id=29.
Corel Draw 9 currently (as at 2007-09-16) works only with wine 0.9.22 (as far as tested). There are several dlls required to make full functionality working. Installation works without any addtional hack (just start the setup).
Running Corel needs the following dlls:
The dlls are required to enable copy+paste as well as pdf export.
Set the Windows Version to "Windows 98" and Corel 9 with the follwing WINEDLLOVERRIDES:
Crashes sometimes but it works good for the rest .
