Text editing, syntax highlighting, saving and loading work, customization of preferences.
Resizing the window is a little ugly, but it does work (there seems to be the prototype of some sort of smooth resizing code for windows but not sure if it is TextPad or Wine).
What does not
Customization of preferences only works for the active session. If any changes were made to any preference option, TextPad will complain upon exit about some unrecoverable error and prompts the user to generate a .dmp file in the C:\windows\temp (C:\ being whatever folder wine has set up to be drive_c). Then the program must be terminated abnormally (sometimes it will exit on its own) and any changes to any preference is not kept.
Also, it appears that any use of the menu bar up top will upon exiting cause the same problem as above, causing TextPad to crash.
What was not tested
Printing and macros were not tested.
It's fully functional, for all general purposes. Only the recording of settings needs to be fixed.
