Running the installer hangs with the message Warning: unprotecting memory to allow real-mode calls. NULL pointer accesses will no longer be caught. This is http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9178 Workaround: run in wineconsole, not in Wine. The self-extractor creates the directory JN4DEMO. Launch the real installer with cd JN4DEMO wine SETUP.EXE Then launch the app by doing cd ~/".wine/drive_c/Program Files/Accolade/JNG Demo" wine JNG.EXE That complains "This game needs a cd-rom!" Workaround: stick a cd-rom disc (not an audio one) in your cd-rom drive.
