Displays pages quite good. JS and Flash also work tesded sites: http://www.apple.com/ http://www.youtube.com/ http://maps.google.com/

What does not

https does not work does not displays any letter in the menu line (but menu works if you hits in correct positions) font aliasing works terrible - only "standard" aliasing mode provides quite good fonts rendering, but default mode is "medium". You can switch it in File -> Preferences wine spam concole with messages fixme:xrender:X11DRV_AlphaBlend Unable to AlphaBlend without Xrender and fixme:ntdll:NtLockFile I/O completion on lock not implemented yet

Installing and Running Safari
(recommend to use latest wine)

Download winetricks (http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks) and run
```
sh winetricks corefonts
```
Download Safari Beta 3.1.2 "for Windows XP or Vista" (without Quicktime) from http://www.apple.com/safari/ and run it with
```
wine SafariSetup.exe
```
Deselect Install Bonjour for Windows and Install Apple Software Update.

Start Safari.exe from ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Safari/.

Hints

For using embedded Flash you need to install Adobe Flash Player from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ (wine install_flash_player.exe).
