Basic usage worked out of the box:
· Creating images and saving them to different formats.
· Extracting content from images.
· Making images from CDs/DVDs.
· Converting images.
· Compressing/uncompressing images (with optional creating SFV files).
· Changing options and UI language.
· Opening a data CD/DVD.
· Viewing help file.
· Getting to the homepage.
What does not
Oddly enough, creating CD/DVD checksums didn't work. In my system it showed a message stating it couldn't find any CD/DVD drive although it could when making images for example.
Creating checksums of the current open image and verifying them was also not possible.
When trying to open an audio CD I ended up either having to kill the application because of a crash or with a EAccessViolation error. If the error happened after clicking OK in the dialog UltraISO worked fine.
Toolbar icons are not displayed correctly, they're appear "scratched"; but that doesn't interfere in their functionality, they work as usual.
What was not tested
· Burning capabilities (either using the Nero API or without it).
· Bootable related options (extracting boot sector, creating one, ...).
· Audio extraction and conversion.
Tested version was 220.127.116.1150. When installing disable the CD/DVD emulator as the driver wouldn't work in Linux.
