What works
Everything. Needs a nocd-crack though.
- Installation: the Setup.exe located in the setup folder installs fine. Don't bother with install.exe or Setup.now.exe.
- Playing the game: first apply the official patch (Patch_1_SO.exe is shipped with the cd itself), then apply the nocd crack. Make a backup of all .ini files just for safety. Also, make sure the OpenGL "Sync to VBlank" setting is enabled (for Nvidia card owners: run nvidia-settings), else you get annoying mouse lag in the menus, and other issues during gameplay (such as ugly lightning effects, etc).
- I used a default (fresh) wine configuration (win2000, fullscreen). Only thing I changed was choosing OSS over ALSA.
What does not
Nothing (as far as I can tell).
Workarounds
What was not tested
Completing the game.

Additional Comments
- There's no native widescreen support. There's a fix by setting FullscreenViewport and DesiredFOV in system.ini and user.ini, but as a side-effect the top few lines in your logbook will be cut off. - I couldn't get the game to install when using wine-0.9.53.

FullscreenViewportX=xxxx
FullscreenViewportY=xxxx
Change them to set your resolution.
Now open user.ini. Find these lines:
DesiredFOV=90
DefaultFOV=90
Change the values to set your FOV to your preference. I recommend 100 for 16:10 displays, and 106 for 16:9 displays.
