What works

creating objects from the object tab, moving object with mouse and widget in the edit tab, stretching and  resizing objects with mouse and all other features unless not tested yet or mentioned in the what does not work. there are about a million options to test

What does not

Bryce is not showing in full screen as it should, the Ubuntu panels still show, and when you move your mouse to the top of the screen it should show a pull-down panel when you move your mouse just shy of the edge of the screen, it only shows if you move your mouse above the ubuntu panel,  I'm not a programmer, but i think its a GUI layer issue? resizing objects with the resize widget (in the edit tab) also rotating, the filter box in the deep textures editor,  it should allow you to grab and drag 2 change values on either the graphical representation of the curve or if you grab and drag within the a or b area. Pen strokes do not show up until you release the mouse button, the app does not show up on a workspace window (ubuntu 9.10) rendering is a little sluggish, it seems 2 briefly pause as the rendering line gets to the bottom of the scene, has'nt hung yet but i have'nt tried any complicated materials yet. In the time pallet you cannot slide any of the sliders (you can use grab and drag with mouse to change the start, stop, and move the play head. Also in the motion lab. It appears that any time a grab and drag function is needed it will not work-apart from the elevation editor (for mountains), all of its functions, panels, and tool options work perfectly. Also, you can click on these sliders to set the desired level, however the play head does not react this way, only the time-in slider does (this is the slider that allows you to choose when 2 start the animation rendering, similar to the total time slider) there is a work around for this in the set-up animation option menus. From what i can tell, this may be a GUI issue (the same issue blender has in vista, u have 2 use compatibility mode and disable a couple of items for some things to show/work properly)

Additional Comments

So far it seems this program will only get a silver medal, there needs to be a way to adjust compatibility mode options like disable scaling on high DPI settings and desktop composition, however I am new to whine and Ubuntu and Linux, so this option may be available, I will try win 98 mode
