Main Application starts (No modified config.fpw is required) / At the "Squashed dialog box", you can press the left arrow key and then enter to continue.
You can run Visual Chart Form separately and help works.

Attempting to create or load the sample database does not work and the TMG just greys out

Copy the contents of the installation CD-ROM to the directory cd01 in your wine's C Drive.
From the applications menu use "Wine > Configure Wine" on the
"Applications" Settings tab change then select "Windows 3.1"
from "Windows Version:" drop down box.
Run the installer using Wine:
When install, request the 2nd CD-ROM select no.
Apply the upgrade patch.
After installation of the main application has finished, you need to apply the upgrade patch.
Copy the upgrade patch g40_d.exe to c:\TMGW\
Run the upgrader using Wine:
Enter your serial code.
At the "Squashed dialog box", you can press the left arrow key (Which selects the hidden yes button) and then enter to continue.(due to abandoned bug:24333)
The Splash screen shows and then the "Welcome..." Screen appears.
Selecting the "Data Set" tab and attempting to either create a new data set or use the sample data set, tmg becomes non responsive. (Need to file a bug?)
Troubleshooting:Use the latest version of Wine. Type 'wine --version' if you are unsure
open the following file
and find the following line:
and change it to
MEMLIMIT = 5, 16384 ,262144
Save the file.
(this means use 5% of memory with a min of 16kb and max of 256kb)
